Getting Started with Renaissance – Middle School Edition

Join Horizon Middle School’s assistant principal to hear our perspective on how Renaissance can make a difference in the culture and climate of your school. We were a “watch” school for turnaround status with the state; now our school meets or beats state test score averages, we decreased our behavioral referrals, and we increased student achievement, earning the Jostens Renaissance Platinum School of Distinction for a second year.

Horizon Middle School has used Renaissance to dramatically renew and transform their culture and climate over the past 8 years, and they brought Renaissance values and ideas with them. Fundraising 101

It takes money to run a successful Renaissance program, and in this session, we will show you quick and easy ways to raise money for your program. We will focus on how to earn thousands of dollars by doing a fun Color Run (5K). Our Color Runs average $4,000-$6,500!

Whether you are thinking about having a short Renaissance rally or are ready to take your rally to the next level, you don’t want to miss this session. Greenbrier High School has some of the best Renaissance rallies in the country. We have produced ten rallies, and some have lasted for more than 2 1/2 hours! We will show you our themes, game ideas, unique types of recognition, and much more. You will learn what we have done well and what we learned to do better!

Smiles All Year: Begin with a Bang to Get Smiles from Start to Finish

Connecting Renaissance and P.B.I.S.

We will explore the connection between Renaissance and PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Systems) and how they complement each other, especially at the Tier One (primary) level, to help transform your school’s climate and culture. My Pep Talk Turned into a Pep Rally REMIX

I LOVE Spirit Week and that’s my peppin’ problem!
