WHAT’S THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?
This engaging and interactive LIVE day will include:
- Inspiration and insights from Renaissance Champion and educator, Melissa Wright
- Proven ideas for making a positive impact on your school’s culture and climate
- Collaborative time to create action plans and share ideas
- Applicable leadership skills for students and educators
- Proven methods for improving Educator & Student morale, Academic Achievement and Character Development

FEATURED SPEAKER:
Melissa Wright is a passionate high school educator that is driven to help schools create a place where students belong and everyone feels like they matter. By sharing ideas that work in her school, she helps educators and students see they can improve their culture and climate. Melissa is a mathematics and dance teacher at Kennebecasis Valley High School in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Canada. She brought Renaissance to her school in her second year of teaching and has been running with it ever since. After doing Renaissance for 17 years, her favourite thing is to see students on their team develop into leaders. As well, seeing students and Staffulty receive recognition that may have been unexpected brings her so much joy. It has been those small moments that have made all that their Renaissance team does, matter. In her spare time Melissa enjoys teaching and taking dance classes in the community, as well as knitting, crocheting, and spending time at the beach with her family.
